60th: Rex, Mary Smith WILLIAMSTOWN — Rex and Mary Belle Moore Smith of Williamstown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 12. The Smiths were married on Nov. 12, 1949, at Auburn United Methodist Church in Auburn, W.Va., by the Rev. A.V. Doddrill. Mrs. Smith is the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Jamie E. Hall Moore and Smith is the son of the late Bryan O. and Faye Katherine Smith. Mrs. Smith is retired from Wood County Schools and Williamstown Elementary School. Smith is retired from American Cyanamid at Willow Island. They are members of Williamstown First United Methodist Church. The couple have one daughter, Lisa Rexann Wagner, and husband, Kevin, of Waterford; and one granddaughter, Katherine Ann.
