A: No, articles from before 2008 are not included on our site. Both the Washington County Public Library and the Marietta College Legacy Library maintain microfilm copies of the newspaper dating back to 1864. The materials are accessible by the public at both libraries. A selection of historical front pages from The Times is available in our community section.

A: Yes, most of the articles found in the printed newspaper can also be found on MariettaTimes.com, the entire printed newspaper can be found on the e-edition that is part of the website and is also available via apps for tablets and smart phones. The newspaper contains some features that are not found on the web. Conversely, the site has resources not available in print. This includes a massive community section with profiles on schools and area cities and villages, reader forums, blogs and an online poll.

A: First you have to register for a free user account. You can do so by clicking on the Create an Account link located at the top of the page.
