He was underage and drunk when he caused injury to the passenger. She was of age. Did she buy the alcohol for him? Was she also impaired? Did this cause her to use poor judgement in choosing to be a passenger in a car driven by a drunk driver? Just pointing out that accountability is a two-way street.

Tess, We agree! An absolute perfect comment. The first for '13. ACCOUNTABILITY.... Now why is good for this girl, but you refuse to use it in all of your other liberal arguments. Anyway, you had a good one this go around.
Her drunkeness brought on her own problems as well. He needs smacked really hard by the law, but not by her or the others. No one in that group "had" to get in that car.

She can't get out of bed but she sold her pills and is able to make it to the downtown bars. Hmm. Maybe you shouldn't buy alcohol for a minor and then proceed to get in the car and not wear a seatbelt. She is just as responsible as he. The judicial system in this area is whack.
