Seems as if johnboy has come around to the democratic way of doing things, as far as the healthcare initiative part is concerned, now lets see if the gop legislature shows us they can think in a intelligent manner!
Lets take the medicare, and medicaid dollars out of local economy, see if it shrinks? Lets take this funding from people with cerebral palsy, or are in their last stages of a battle with cancer, we will park them at the doors of local, ponzi scheme spewers and the doors of thier churches, heck we`ll park `em along state highways with signs saying I am a christian, so do what the Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John asks us to do.
If Kasich does not expand medi-caid, those tax dollars collected and sent to D.C., are going to other states, you want them back to Ohio, or maybe the biggest welfare state Miss. or its neighbor Ala., Also many medicaid recipients have jobs, in some states the Nation`s Largest employer and funder of the Chi-Coms. have seminars to show how to fill out social servis forms, so they can get food stamps and other srevices, noe is that subsidizing or ORGANIZED THEFT. ONLY THEFT, if you are living on less than 15,ooo, a yr. right squirrel food. Hypocrites.
I see that Stiffy has been overdosing on Ayn Rand's potboilers again and is ticked-off that "Atlas" stopped "Shrugging" responsibility to the majority of Ohio's citizens!
I have to admit that I am surprised by Kasich's budget proposals. Either there is a "Catch-22" somewhere, or the Ohio Governor forgot to read the "marching orders" from A.L.E.C. (American Legislative Exchange Council) that "inspired" other Republican governors like Walker and the "Tricky Rickies" (Snyder, Scott, and Perry) to cut taxes for big corporations and hike sales taxes for consumers in their states ... Let's wait and see what "King John" has up his sleeve!
Governor Kasich's budget and income tax cut are no surprise if you look at the big picture.A lot of businesses and a small amount of people are going to have to start paying 3.8% extra in medicare tax. This is a great way that everyone can enjoy paying for obamacare and not just the few.All I have to say is you voted him back in so eat some cheese with your whine......
Of course I am not talking about nursing home patients. I am talking about freeloading career welfare scum who refuse to work. If they did not receive benefits there would be more money to take care of grandma and grandpa!
Good to see Kasich standing up to the Oil and Gas Lobby. The Gas isn't going anywhere, and we would still have one of the lowest effective tax rates in the country.
I do not like the new tax on legal services. While Kasich champions small business, this will harm solo practitioners and small firms. This also goes for solo CPA's.
The hole Strickland left!!! LOLOL!!!! Wow havent you ever heard of Bob Taft or did you forget the aknowledged worst governor ever !Ted only got things started back up when he left and most of what this doofus has done has been because of Strickland !

What do you all disagree with?
He is stealing from local governments to fill his coffers or
He is a sleeze-bag?
I believe both are true. Ask a local government official; listen to him talk.
Yes and Yes

Return to 2005 levels sought for local governments
Headlines in another community newspaper.
Wonder why we never heard about it.
It's time for the people to take over government.
Where are you on this issue Andy?

@Matt - By making the oil/gas hucksters pay their fair share of taxes, it appears that Kasich IS "cutting out" some of the "freebies"!

You all know that the increase to Medicaid will come from more cuts to Medicare. Who paid into the system, people on Medicaid or people on Medicare?
