A GIANT JOB WELL DONE to the Washington County Sheriffs Dept on arresting such scum! The idea that such a predator would be so close to so many vulnerable young ladies is sickening. In today's world our youth are already subjected to too many issues that cause them to grow up way too fast. I'm just glad there are male officers in this county who are able to conduct such an in depth interview on such a sensitive topic with an already frightened girl who has already had a bad experience with a man. I'm impressed with the connection these officers made b/c in my experience these victims generally feel more comfortable speaking with another female. The personnel behind getting this young woman to relive this unfortunate sexual experience deserve a HUGE pat on the back and, in my book, a bonus or raise! Again, JOB WELL DONE!!

And, as I say once again...why badger the parents Crandall?? Were you not a teenager at one time? I know I was and I sure wasn't perfect by any means. I told my parents that I was going one place and went to another..until I got caught..then I wasn't trusted anymore. Of course the 15 y/o had a child. It's the teachers that are to blame here. Parents work in this area 2 and 3 minimum wage jobs so they can afford a roof over their heads, food on the table, clothing etc. Maybe this parent isn't living off the system. I personally don't know this family, I don't know their circumstances, but every time I see something like this, the parents are made out to be criminals. Blame the people that are the real criminals!! The imbeciles that took advantage of these girls. Maybe the girls came on to these men, but the old saying still stands firm -- NO MEANS NO!! Let's hope these perverts get what's coming to them, and these girls need grounded until the age of 21 for being at an adult party!!

These guys aren't really pedophiles. Pedophilia is a term that refers to people 16 and over who are attracted to prepubescent children. The young woman doesn't meet that qualification. Wasn't too long ago that 15 year old girls were married off to 24 year old men (and older) and it was thought to be a good match. Instead of chronological age in this kind of situation, emotional age would be a more accurate thing to look at,no?

I don't know how old these people were at the time. Were they 15 and 24, 15 and 22, 13 and 22?

What we know for certainty is that all involved used extremely poor judgment. These men, the young woman, and her parent's poor judgment resulted in bringing another life into this world whose chances of having normalcy are slim.

At the time it accrued the men were 22 not 24 it was two years ago. And you people only know have story like the rest of us don't judge by what all the paper says they could be wrong that's why we have a court system to prove weather they are guilty or not so stop judging people

hmmm, gee, maybe there is a chance that these boys had no knowledge of her being a minor since she was at an ADULT party drinking and is there the possibility that maybe she might have told them she was old enough and consented?.....also,gee,wonder if maybe, after almost 2 years ,she might be after money?i do know these boys and they are not what they are being potrayed as!ever heard of innocent until proven guilty?

2girlzmom, those "boys" as you called them are 24 year old MEN. 15 year old girls are easy prey for immature and probably socially inept guys like them.

Let 's say I am a 24 year old and my friend and I want to kick back after a long work week/ the very last place I would want to be partying would be a party with high school kids. Dumb and totally sick, can't they go to places with people In their age group?I do not understand why anyone especially a teacher would think it was a good idea to party where students would be. How dumb are these losers? And now that great idea led to a child being born, as if the 24 year old did not think this could be a result?

Apr-03-13 4:24 PM feel awful for that poor young mother? Really? You do not know the whole story as you have only read what is in the newspaper. I am not condoning that these boys go to parties but you have to remember you do not know what this girl has done either. The whole truth will come out, you just wait and see!!

Thankfully these guys have been arrested, and hopefully they will be kept in jail, So let's hope that every person who saw, suspects or may has been harmed by Devin Russell Binegar and/or Shane Dye, will find the courage and strength to speak up and contact police, no matter how long ago the abuse happened. It is extremely rare that a child predator has only one victim, and they need to be kept far away from kids forever. Keep in mind your silence only hurts, and by speaking up there is a chance for healing, exposing the truth, and therefore protecting others.

Our entertainment society has promoted irresponsible behavior to become commonplace with no kickback. 15 yr old drinking moonshine, apparently raped, gets pregnant and the parents are where? It's almost as if parents today throw their hands up and go, oh well, that's the way things are today! The rapist would have been answering to me long before now.

I am wondering who and how many knew about this months ago and did not report it. Will AG DeWine ask for a Grand Jury here as in Steubenville?

Where did the booze come from? There has to be more here.
