Not just a whole new school board and people in charge need to be dismissed .But several of the teachers need to be dismissed. There are families running the schools.Families teaching ,coaching and the scholarships go to the teachers and administrations kids.If you kiss one of their butts you can get favors. There is to much corruption going on where we send our children every day.For the kid sake its time for them to go and for some to get what they deserve finally..

Every time I read abou this school system it just seems to get more messed up. Best theing for it is a whole new group of people come in and take over. Some of the board members sound like real buttclowns.

Because your wife talked about hiring another teacher with it. People might not go to the meetings but the word gets around about what is said. How does that offset transportation cost?

getthetruth The pay to play money has never been spent. How can it offset the cost of transportation? I paid that money for sports and thats what it needs to be spent on. It's good to know the school board lets a members spouse downtalk people in the community like you do. Just shows what the people are up against.

getthetruth, did your wife vote to bring back bussing? Hard to do when you don't show up for the meeting. Which one of you is on the school board, you or your wife? She was against bringing back bussing till a new school levy past. Didn't want to be the only one to vote against it so she just didn't show up for the meeting.

armybrat: Warren has no more upheavals than any other school district. The only difference is that Warren has a few members of the community who are more vocal in criticizing, bashing and blaming the school's administration for every little thing they personally disagree with. They never offer solutions or offer to help. They just look for opportunities to try to impress people with their "wisdom" and their all-knowing knowledge of how the school system is really run. Just don't confuse them with the facts...

getthetruth, Sounds like the school has struck it rich and will no longer need the funds from the Emergency Levy. Bringing back bussing was nothing more then a big but kissing from your wife and the rest of the board. Hope your funding plan don't backfire or has Kasich signed the budget yet?

Can the Warren BOE find any more ways to inconvenience people. Already bought a car and had all the arrangements made and they up and change everything. I hope like h*** they are happy with themselves. Where did all this money come from to bring back bussing? Has it been there all along? What have they done with all the pay to play money. We just need a whole new school system.

Smooch,Smooch,Smooch, buy those votes. Enjoy the bussing this year, it will be gone after the renewal levy is over. Anyone want to bet the enrollment numbers still drop?
