The article about Connections Day Spa that appeared in the June 28-29 edition of The Marietta Times contained incorrect information about the building's history.
Beula M. Peoples owned the building and lived there until her death in October 2007. The current owners purchased it from her estate. It was located adjacent to Peoples Furniture Store and near the Robert S. Peoples Funeral Home, which were in separate buildings.
Bill Peoples moved back to Marietta in 1973. He purchased Cawley Funeral Home and incorporated it as Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home in 1977. Peoples purchased his father's funeral business in 1979.
The Times regrets the errors.
