Streight-McPherson
Kimberly Ruth Streight and Charles Edward McPherson were united in marriage on Dec. 31, 2007, at First Baptist Church of Marietta. Pastor Scott Shawver officiated for the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Charles and Debra Streight of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Glee Emerick of Marietta, and Joseph and Doris Tuttle of Reedsville, Ohio.
The bridegroom is the son of Rebecca McPherson of Belpre and Richard McPherson of Walker, W.Va. He is the grandson of Irene Keller and the late Russell Keller, Ray Ferrell of Belpre, and Marian McPherson of Walker, W.Va., and the late Charles McPherson.
The bride wore a white gown made from flowing chiffon that featured a bodice adorned with clear cut glass crystals and a true corset back. She carried a bouquet of white roses, calla lilies and stephanotis.
Maid of honor was Emily Diehl. Bridesmaids were Emily Buck; Stephanie Yencer and Sarah Yencer, cousins of the bride; and Jamie Liston.
Flower girl was Makayla Harris, cousin of the bridegroom.
Best man was Benjy Collins. Groomsmen were Brian McCormick; Aaron Richards; Johnny Parsons, brother of the bride; and Dave Ferrell.
Ringbearer was Hunter Harris, cousin of the bridegroom.
Guests were registered by Brittany Barker, cousin of the bridegroom; and Kathy Yencer, aunt of the bride.
Pianist was Elizabeth Cummings.
A reception followed at the Marietta Country Club with a "Happy New Year" theme and table decorations that included light up time clock centerpieces. Entertainment was provided by Jason DeJoseph.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple are now residing in Belpre.
