Varner-Sheire

Ashley Varner and Kevin Sheire were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. July 5, 2008, in the gazebo at the Shrine Building. Tom Miroshiro, friend of the groom, officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Terry (Brenda) Varner and Lesa (Mark) Casto of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of Viola Varner and the late Willis Varner and Jack and Hope Keith, all of Marietta.

The bridegroom is the son of Quinton and Machelle Willey of Belpre. He is the grandson of Dale and Carol Willey of California.

The bride wore a white satin strapless gown which had a cuffed bodice and a full multilayered tulle skirt with a basque waistline and a chapel train, which she wore bustled. The gown was embellished with sparkling beads. Her headpiece was a silver tiara with rhinestones and crystals and an elbow length veil. She carried a bouquet of lavender roses, with the stems wrapped in white satin ribbon.

Matron of honor was Christina Gast, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stacy Varner, sister-in-law of the bride, and Amanda Herron, friend of the bride. Their dresses were lavender taffeta tea-length with strapless neckline. They carried bouquets of white hydrangeas with tips of flowers dipped lavender.

Flower girl was Jaslynn Casto, niece of the bride. She wore a white sleeveless dress with a multilayered tulle skirt. The skirt was trimmed with white seed pearl flowers and the bodice was trimmed with sequins and sparkles. The dress was styled after the bride's gown. She carried a small white satin basket of rose petals.

Quinton Willey, stepfather of the groom, served as best man. Kaden Sheire, son of the groom, served as junior groomsman.

Guests were registered by Patti Landovek of Troutville, Va., friend of the bride's family.

A dinner reception followed the ceremony at the Shrine Building. During the reception, the bride and groom presented a floral bouquet to the longest married couple, Dale and Carol Willey, grandparents of the groom.

The bride and groom will reside in San Antonio, Texas.

Craig-Williams

Trish A Craig and David R Williams exchanged marriage vows on June 21, 2008 at the Comfort Inn in Marietta.

The bride is the daughter of Carolyn and Keith McConnell of Williamstown and Mike and Pam Starcher of Mineral Wells, W.Va.

The bridegroom is the son of the late Raymond and Mary Williams of Parkersburg.

Maid of Honor was Alisha Starcher, sister of the bride. Flower girl was Hannah Craig, daughter of the bride. Guest attendant was Autumn Anderson, cousin of the bride. The bride was escorted by Keith McConnell, her stepfather.

Best man was Ron Porto, friend of the groom. Ushers were Mike Walker and Ryan Williams, son of the groom. Mike Starcher father of the bride. Ring bearer was Nicholas Craig son of the bride.

The service was provided by Robert Alfred.

Music was provided by Chris Wilson of DJ and Associates.

Pictures were taken by Jeff Anderson, uncle of the bride and Vickie Williams, sister of the groom. Wedding decorations were created by the couples family.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Virgina Beach and now reside in Marietta.

Radcliff-Headley

Molly Ann Radcliff and Travis Aaron Headley were united in marriage on June 15, 2008, during an outdoor wedding at the home of the bride's parents in St. Marys, W.Va. The Rev. Eric Simpson officiated for the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Charmel Radcliff. She is the granddaughter of James and Olive Higinbotham of Charleroi, Pa., and the late George and Clela Radcliff of Newport.

The bridegroom is the son of Brad and Debbie Headley of Mount Morris, Pa., and Francis and Yvonne Tait of Morgantown, W.Va. He is the grandson of Earnest and Nola Headley of Ringgold, Va., and Frank and Martha Wilkins of Morgantown, W.Va.; and the stepgrandson of Vera Hormell of Morgantown, W.Va.

The bride wore a strapless ivory gown with a satin bodice and a full ruffled organza skirt that was accented at the waist with a fuchsia sash. She wore an ivory pillbox hat with a side decor of silk hand-rolled roses and a French net facial veil. The bride carried a floral pomander ball of dendrobium orchids, hydrangea, bells of Ireland and stargazer lilies accented with peacock feathers.

The bride's attendants were Reanna Miller of Tunnelton, W.Va.; Cady Radcliff of Fairmont, W.Va., sister of the bride; Bekah Aranda of Morgantown, W.Va.; Ginny Lemley of Mount Morris, Pa.; and Monica Offutt of Morgantown, W.Va. They wore strapless satin tulip dresses of either lime green or fuchsia and carried hand nosegays similar to the bride's flowers.

Groomsmen were Evan Morgan of Morgantown, W.Va.; Seth Lawson of State College, Pa.; Matt Hipps of Morgantown, W.Va.; Will Sigler of Washington, D.C.; and Aaron Lastoria of Dublin, Ohio.

During the ceremony the "Apache Wedding Prayer" was recited by Kim Pepper, cousin of the bride, and musical selections were provided by the Arte Strings Quartet.

A catered dinner reception followed the ceremony.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of St. Marys High School and a 2003 graduate of West Virginia University. She is employed by Valley HealthCare System of Morgantown as a crisis stabilization specialist.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Monongalia High School and a 2004 graduate of West Virginia University. He will graduate in May 2009 from West Virginia University School of Medicine.

The couple plan to take a late honeymoon in December to Florida. They are currently residing in Morgantown, W.Va.

Heiss-Heddleston

Emily Heiss and Tyler Heddleston were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 16, 2008, at the Lighthouse Baptist Church. The Rev. Tom O'Connor performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Angela Sanchez of Henderson, Nev., and Daniel Heiss of Waterford. She is the granddaughter of Mary Jane and Albert Tullius of Beverly, and Rosemary Heiss of Waterford and the late Fred Heiss. She is the great-granddaughter of Glenna Tullius of Beverly.

The bridegroom is the son of Teresa and Paul Beach of Barlow, and Bob and Lynetta Heddleston of Belpre. He is the grandson of Joan Courtney of Barlow, Gil Courtney of Stockport, and the late Jean and Robert Heddleston.

Maid of honor was Caitlin Heiss of Beverly, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Danielle Griffith of Dayton, sister of the bride; and Summer Heddleston of Easthampton, Mass., sister of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaid was Autumn Heddleston, sister of the bridegroom.

The Bible carrier was Ellen Gill, niece of the bridegroom. Flower girl was Gracie Gill, niece of the bridegroom.

The bride carried a bouquet of red roses and the bridesmaids carried bouquets of white roses.

Best man and soloist was Alex Heddleston of Barlow, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Nick Arnold of Marietta and Mike Seaman of Barlow.

Ringbearer was Ryan Griffith, nephew of the bride.

Katie Taylor was soloist and pianist for the ceremony.

Flower arrangements and bouquets were prepared by the bridegroom's mother.

After the ceremony, a dinner was held at the church. A reception followed at the Barlow Fairgrounds with music provided by Nick Arnold.

After a honeymoon in Cincinnati, the couple will reside in Fleming.
