In the story "Fort Frye hires superintendent" that appeared in Tuesday's edition of The Marietta Times, former Superintendent Robert Heinlein's listed salary of $93,900 included benefits. The new superintendent, Matthew Dill, will receive a salary of $89,500 plus benefits. Interim Superintendent Dora Jean Bumgarner received the same salary as Dill, but without benefits.
Douglas A. Hendershot was transferred to the Washington County Jail from the Noble Correctional Institution Dec. 31 for a hearing. He was not charged with a new crime. Incorrect information appeared in the police reports in Tuesday's edition of The Times.
