Third- through sixth-graders at Marietta Christian School participated in the Christian School of Ohio's elementary competition, which was held May 1 at Carrollton Christian School.
Students who participated and won special awards were Alyssa Pryor and Brenda Grizer, who won a Class One in vocal ensemble; and Brian Tulabot, who won second place in the Bible verse memory bee.
Students competed in the areas of spelling bee, Bible verse memory bee, vocal ensemble, math and Bible knowledge quiz team.
Students from Marietta Christian who attended the competition were Kelsey Ash, Kyle LaBarre, Brian Tulabot, Justin Cooper, David Tulabot, Alyssa Pryor, Brandon Becker and Brenda Grizer.
