Valley Harvest to host gathering

Valley Harvest Church at 104 Tennis Center Drive, Marietta, is hosting the Eastern USA "Awaken and Align" reformation gathering from May 28 to 30.

This three-day gathering presented by the Federation of Ministers and Churches International is intended to awaken and equip the church to be relevant and to make an impact in today's culture.

"We need to converge with the Body of Christ in this region in order to see transformation," said Jim Hodges, president of FMCI. "Around the nation churches of many denominations and streams are working together for this movement toward reformation."

Sessions will begin from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28, and conclude at noon on Saturday, May 30. Friday's sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 9:30 p.m., with lunch at noon. Saturday's sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon.

Trainers will be Rodney Lord, Nathan Isaacs, Hope Taylor, Eric Reeder and Jim Hodges. Responders will be Rod Davis, Steve Pauwels, David Van Fleet, Mic Cox and Rob Duncan.

The trainers will be teaching on the topics of "Five Foundation Pillars Needed For Reformation," "The Kingdom of God/Dominion Mandate," "Seven Mountains of Culture," "Five Fold Ministry/Civil Government," "Transgenerational Synergy in Ministry" and "Victorious Eschatology."

The focus on Thursday and Friday evening will be worship and intercession. Both evening sessions are free and open to the public.

Cost at the door for the day sessions is $40 per person or $70 for a married couple. The gathering is open to everyone, including pastors, intercessors, marketplace ministers and area leaders. Child care will be available.
