Combs-Dye
Aleece Quimby Combs and Nicholas David Dye were married at 5:30 p.m. on June 27, 2009, in Little Hocking by the bridegroom's father. The outdoor ceremony was held under an antique arch.
Wedding music was provided by violinist Claire Dent.
The bride is the daughter of Ron and Sue Combs of Hackney, Ohio. She is the granddaughter of Fred and Lorraine Combs of Hackney, and the late Othel and Ruth Quimby of Watertown.
The bridegroom is the son of David and Mindy Dye of Belpre. He is the grandson of Harold and Phylis Dye of Belpre, and the late Kenneth and Marjorie Luman of Little Hocking.
The bride wore a strapless, intricately beaded gown with a short train. Flowers were white roses and green roses with hydrangeas and button mums.
Maid of honor was Alana Combs and matron of honor was Adria Handley. Bridesmaids were Kari Dye, Emily Dye and Rachel Parks.
Best men were Chris Travis and Brandon Simmons. Groomsmen were Jake Childers, Joel Hasselbeck and Scott Carnes.
The bride is currently attending Marietta College and is pursuing degrees in graphic design and advertising/public relations.
The bridegroom graduated in May 2009 from Liberty University with a degree in graphic design.
A reception followed under a white tent at the same location.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
