The Fellowship Church of the Nazarene in Reedsville, Ohio, will be conducting revival services from Oct. 4 through 7.
Service times will be at 10:45 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Oct. 4, and at 7 p.m. on all other days. There will be a special healing service on Tuesday night.
Evangelist for the revival will be the Rev. Elaine Pettit of Kalamazoo, Mich. The Rev. Jeremy Pettit will be providing special music.
Pettit is an ordained elder and a tenured evangelist in the Church of the Nazarene. She is the founder and director of the Waiting Schools.
Pettit has been speaking for revivals, camp meetings, Prayer Awakening events and retreats nationwide since 1991.
She is the co-author of "When God Bursts In: Revival Then and Now" and has also published several articles in the "Evangelists Perspective." She has also authored "Discover the Dynamics of Holiness," which has been translated into eight languages.
Pettit will also be presenting a Prayer Awakening Conference from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3. Breakfast will be served by the God's Pearls women's group starting at 8 a.m.
The conference is free. Participants can purchase a workbook for $6. Everyone is invited to attend and to learn how to unleash the power of prayer in their lives.
