Fox-Geary

Kari Dawn Fox and Brandon Alexander Geary were united in marriage on May 23, 2009, at St. Monica Catholic Church in Lubeck, W.Va. The double ring ceremony was performed by Father Seth Wymer of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marietta.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Kristy Fox of Washington, W.Va. She is the granddaughter of David and Jean Grapes, and Charles and Waveline Fox of Parkersburg.

The bridegroom is the son of John and Vicki Geary of Fairmont, W.Va. He is the grandson of Dorothy Wilson and the late Rossie Wilson of Fairmont, W.Va., and Don and Donna Geary of Follansbee, W.Va.

Matron of honor was Amber Gill, sister of the bride, and maid of honor was Taylor Hughes. Bridesmaids were Natalie Geary, sister of the bridegroom; Carlie Ebra; Colleen Grierson; and Jessica Wilt.

Best man was Benjamin Geary, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen included Chase Fox, brother of the bride; Marcus Gill, brother-in-law of the bride; Blane Mayle; Joshua Justice; and Jake Owens. Ushers were Shane Wilson and Jeff Courtney, cousins of the bridegroom.

Andrew and Joshua Gill, nephews of the bride, were ringbearers. Ryan Chambers, cousin of the bridegroom, served as a sign language interpreter.

Jason Morehead and Stephen Gissy performed special readings for the ceremony. Jennifer Hitt, Jessica Fox and Brittany Fox, cousins of the bride, registered guests.

A dinner and reception followed at the Eagles Club in Parkersburg.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Parkersburg Catholic High School and a 2008 graduate of Fairmont State University with a degree in elementary education. She is currently pursuing a master's degree at West Virginia University and is a kindergarten teacher at Phillips Elementary School in Marietta.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Fairmont East High School and a 2008 graduate of Fairmont State University with a degree in architecture. He is employed by Carr Concrete as a project manager in Waverly, W.Va.

The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas. They have purchased a home in Parkersburg.

Reed-Myers

Kasey Lea Reed and Frederick Nicholas "Nick" Myers were united in marriage on Aug. 22, 2009. The ceremony took place aboard the Valley Gem sternwheeler on the Ohio River with Tracy Whitehair-Kallio officiating.

The bride wore an ivory strapless gown with detailed beading along the top and train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white Gerber daisies.

Bridesmaids were Amy Jacobs of Leland, N.C., sister of the bride; Darcy Connolly of Southport, N.C., sister of the bride; and Danielle Smith of Marietta. They wore black tea length dresses with spaghetti straps and each carried a single white Gerber daisy.

Gracie Smith of Parkersburg served as flower girl.

Groomsmen were Ben Myers, Alex Myers and Curtis Myers of Barberton, Ohio, brothers of the bridegroom.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a boat cruise and a reception with food prepared by the bridegroom.

The couple spent the first night of their honeymoon at a suite at the Lafayette Hotel and continued their honeymoon at a remote cabin. They will reside Lowell.

Tucker-Merrow

Josh K. Merrow and Alicia I. Tucker announce their recent marriage. They were married during a private ceremony on Aug. 17, 2009, in Marietta.

The bride is the daughter of Gerald and Bobbie Jo Tucker of Stockport. She is the granddaughter of Leon and Irene Ober of New York, and the late Gerald R. and June I. Tucker of New York. She is the great-granddaughter of Helen Woodward of Pennsylvania and the late William Woodward.

She is employed by B&L Agency in Marietta.

The bridegroom is the son of Donald and Kellie Merrow of Lower Salem. He is the grandson of Bob and Susie Stille of Lower Salem, Charles and Sandra Schilling of Lowell, and Walter and Sharon Merrow of Byesville. He is the great-grandson of Dale Stille of Lower Salem and the great-great-grandson of Madeline Miller of Lowell.

He is employed by United Rental in Marietta.

A reception in their honor is being held on Oct. 24 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church Hall in Lowell.

The couple are now residing in Lower Salem.

Baughman-Berdine

Keri Ann Baughman and Richard Scott Berdine were united in marriage on Aug. 29, 2009, at Cornerstone Gospel Church in Vienna, W.Va., with Pastor Rick Kapple officiating.

The bride is the daughter of James Baughman and Linda LeMasters of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Bernell and Marjorie Baughman of Ravenswood, W.Va., Betty Lowther of Parkersburg, and the late Robert E. Garrison of Parkersburg.

The bridegroom is the son of Richard Berdine of Boaz, W.Va., and Sandie Rollyson of Lubeck, W.Va. He is the grandson of Carlos and Ann Gray of Vienna, W.Va., Mary Fitzgerald of Mullins, W.Va., and the late Ray Berdine of Clarksburg, W.Va.

Maid of honor was Nicole Needs. Bridesmaids were Amy Baughman and Tami Wright, sisters of the bride; and Stacy Thompson, sister of the bridegroom.

Josie Kegley, niece of the bride, and Catelyn Berdine, niece of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Best man was Jeff Berdine, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Greg Midcap, Jerry Carpenter and James Gainer.

Collin White was the ringbearer.

A reception followed at the Grand Pointe Conference Center in Vienna, W.Va.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Belpre High School and a 2002 graduate of Ohio University. She is employed at Barengo Insurance Agency in Marietta.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Williamstown High School and West Virginia University at Parkersburg. He is employed as a sergeant at the Vienna Police Department.

The couple honeymooned in Key West, Fla., and the Bahamas.
