Huffman-Hardman
La Tosha Le Ann Huffman and George Michael Hardman Jr. were united in marriage on Oct. 24, 2009, at the Grand Pointe Conference Center in Vienna, W.Va., with Pastor Cindy Eakle officiating for the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Tonya Huffman of Barlow. She is the granddaughter of Denver and Ruth Deem of Vienna, W.Va., and Nancy Huffman and the late Edward Huffman of Barlow.
The bridegroom is the son of Mike and Connie Hardman of Vincent. He is the grandson of George and Charlotte Hardman of Marietta, Jack and Barb Groves of Belpre, and the late William and Mary Mayhew of Belpre.
Flower girl was Emmijenn Dowell, the bride's cousin. Ringbearer was Jayden Dowell, also the bride's cousin.
Photography was by Zak Huffman, the bride's brother, who also gave a special musical performance.
A dinner reception followed at the Grand Pointe Conference Center.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Warren High School and received an associate's degree in nursing from Hocking College.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Warren High School and received an associate's degree in computer programming from Washington State Community College.
The couple honeymooned in the Poconos in Pennsylvania.
Glover-Cook
Erin Renee Hune Glover and Joseph Dorland Cook were united in marriage on Dec. 27, 2009, at the Old Medical School Building in Louisville, Ky. Richard Baldwin Cook, the bridegroom's uncle, officiated for the ceremony that was written by the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Steven Hune of Marietta, and Cindy and Rick Glover of Elizabethtown, Ky. She is the granddaughter of Jim and Carol Rogers of Mineral Wells, W.Va.
The bridegroom is the son of Charles Cook, and Carolyn and Chris Cook, all of Louisville, Ky. He is the grandson of Joseph and Marcella Herde, also of Louisville, Ky.
The bride wore a strapless white gown with a sweetheart neckline, corset back and moderate train. Her fingertip length veil was made by the bridegroom's grandmother. The bride carried a bouquet of red and white flowers arranged by Amy Hettinger, the bridegroom's cousin.
Maid of honor was Erika Kay Glover, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids/men were Hannah Bowman and Angela Herde, cousins of the bridegroom; Wendy Lambert, cousin of the bride; Chet Gray; and Cameron Glover, stepbrother of the bride, who also served as ringbearer.
Best woman was Christine Herde, cousin of the bridegroom. Groomswomen/men were Nathan Bowman, Will Bowman and Natalie Hettinger, cousins of the bridegroom; Stephanie Unger, stepsister of the bridegroom; and Alyssa Rogers.
The women in the bridal party wore dresses in red or black and carried mixed bouquets that were also arranged by Amy Hettinger.
Flower girls were Tessa and Angelina Glover, cousins of the bride.
The processional and recessional were arranged by Carolyn Cook, mother of the bridegroom; and performed by Carmel Bowman, Nathan Bowman and Paul Herde.
Reception music was provided by The Phoenix Seven with vocals by Carmel Bowman and Amy Hettinger.
After a honeymoon in New Orleans and Mexico, the couple are residing in Lexington, Ky.
