VIENNA, W.Va. - The Ohio Valley University Stepping Stones, a ladies auxiliary group, recently celebrated its 51st anniversary during the groups convention May 1.
Stepping Stones chapters are comprised of women of all ages who help promote Christian Education at Ohio Valley University by serving as promoters of good will and support, assisting in student recruitment efforts and fundraising.
This year's convention theme was "Hand in Hand" and the hostesses were the Monroe County Chapter and the Noble County Chapter. Pam Robinson served as mistress of ceremonies.
Highlights of the day included the crowning of the 2010 queen, Frances Stephens, a member for 50 years and the mother of former OVU President, Bob Stephens.
