Plechaty-Knight

Joyce Ann Plechaty and Troy Knight exchanged wedding vows at 7 p.m. April 28, 2010, at their home at 1235 Ash Road, Marietta. Joe Matthews officiated for the private, double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the late Joe and Fran Plechaty. The bridegroom is the son of the late Troy and Audrey Knight.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Mark Plechaty.

Maid of honor was Tana Plechaty, sister of the bride. She wore a simple black and white checked summery dress.

The bridegroom wore a yellow rose corsage and the bride carried a long stem yellow rose.

Both the bride and groom are employed by Solvay.

A reception will be held this summer at Salt Fork.

Ash-McElfresh

Timothy Eric McElfresh and Sarah Dawn Ash were united in marriage on May 21, 2010, at the Marietta Municipal Court building in Marietta with Judge Janet Dyar Welch officiating for the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Ash of Marietta and Charles Ash of Morrow County, Ohio, and is the granddaughter of Elinore Johnson of Beverly. She is employed by Walgreens.

The bridegroom is the son of Dorothy McElfresh of Marietta and the grandson of Robert and Ruby McElfresh Jr. of Marietta. He is employed by Kroger of Marietta.

A reception immediately followed at the home of the bridegroom's grandparents.

The couple are residing in Marietta. They will take a full honeymoon in October.
