Dyar-Gowitzka

Erica Renee Dyar and Craig Allen Gowitzka were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. March 27 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Father Stash Dailey and Father Virgil Reischman were officiates for the private, double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Valerie Strahler.

The bride is the daughter of Gerald and Virginia Dyar of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of Mary Lou Huck and late John Huck and the late Howard and Edna Dyar.

The bridegroom is the son of Sharon Ally of Willard, Ohio, and Gene Gowitzka of Shelby, Ohio. He is the grandson of Arlene Smith of Willard, the late Roger Smith, and the late Harold and Corrine Gowitzka.

The bride wore a strapless beaded lace chiffon gown with side drape and satin split front, embellished in a triple lace a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of light and dark pink dahlias wrapped in white satin made by the bridegroom's cousin Kathy Millar.

Matrons of honor were Denise Nahvi and Kendra Arteaga, sisters of the bride. They wore a tiffany blue chiffon and charmeuse dress with rounded neckline and carried a bouquet of dark pink dahlias.

Bridesmaids were Luna Alsharaiha and Amber Griffiths; and Erica Dyar, sister-in-law of the bride.

Best man was Brian Shutte.

Groomsmen were Brian Plavecsky, Rob Arnett; and Nathan Smith, cousin of the bridegroom; and Ryan Dyar, brother of the bride.

Ring bearers were Jase Kuhn and Ethan Nahvi, nephews of the bride.

A reception and dance was held at Knights of Columbus Hall in Churchtown.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana in the Dominic Republic the couple resides in Dublin, Ohio.
