Winners of the annual Colony Film Festival were announced Saturday.
They were:
- Best local film, "Ora E. Anderson: The Soul of the Woods," Jean Andrews and Steven Fetsch, Athens.
- Best student film: "Dawn Bloom," Joshua Overbay and April Campion, Regent University, Virginia Beach, Va,
- Best documentary: "Jerusalem," Jenna Hill, New York City.
- Best short film: "Walter & the Magical Collar," David Cherry, Regent University.
- Best feature film: "Minus One," John Osbeck and Mark Wiskemann, Columbus.
- Best of Fest: "School Play," Eyepop Productions, Eddie Rosenstein and Rick Velleu, Brooklyn, N.Y.
The best local and best student films each won $250. The Best of Fest won $500.
The festival was held Friday and Saturday and featured two films with Marietta ties.
