Together with their parents, Phillip Justin Wilt and Jennifer Ann Dobbins announce their engagement.The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mark and Kelly Dobbins of Williamstown. She is the granddaughter of Emma Jean Dobbins and the late Robert Dobbins of Williamstown, and Arthur and Joann Renner of Xenia, Ohio. She is a 2001 graduate of Williamstown High School and is currently enrolled at Ashford University earning a bachelors of arts degree in project management. She currently works at Manpower Temporary Services in Parkersburg and is a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Cindy Kerns of Vienna and Edward Wilt of Buchannan, W. Va. He is the grandson of Clell and Evelyn Wilt of Vienna and Sterling and June Houck of Mineral Wells. He is a 2002 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2004 graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with an associate degree in welding technology. He is a member of Ironworkers Local 787 and is currently working as an ironworker and foreman for the construction of Longview Power Plant in Morgantown.
A fall wedding is planned for Sept. 17, 2011 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Parkersburg with a reception to follow at the Parkersburg Arts Center.
