Jeff and Julia Beckett of Shadyside are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Michelle, to Robert Steven Harris, Jr., son of Robert and Trennia Harris of Long Bottom.
The bride-to-be is a 1996 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2000 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a degree in criminal justice. She is currently working towards her masters degree in business administration at Wheeling Jesuit University. She is employed by Eye Care Associates of Marietta.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Eastern High School. He attended DeVry University and is member of IBEW local in Marietta. He is employed by Michael Bradley Apparatus as a field service manager.
The couple will be united in marriage on Dec.31 in Shadyside.
