Paul and Alice Beardmore of Marietta will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 11. They were married on Feb. 11, 1961, at St. Marys Church by the late Monsignor Edwin Murphy.
She is the daughter of the late Walter and Lucille Neader. He is the son of the late Clyde and Clara Beardmore.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1959. He retired in 1991 from Millwright Local 1155. She retired in 2005 from in Home Care.
They are both members of St. Marys Church.
The couple have four children: Cynthia; Mark (Amy); Paula (Kerry) Ryder; all of Marietta and Jon (Heather) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
They have nine grandchildren: Alison Beardmore of Norwalk; Brandon, Alexis and Dylan Beardmore, Lucinda and Wesley Ryder, all of Marietta; Lisha (Corey) Smith and Ashley Beardmore of N. Myrtle Beach; and Cody of Elyria, Ohio.
They also have three great-grandchildren: Matthew of Marietta; and Skylar and Ashlynn of N. Myrtle Beach.
