WATERFORD - Joseph A. Donahue, 46, of Waterford, died Friday (Feb. 11, 2011) at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 24, 1965, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Thomas E. Donahue and Karen E. Henderson McCoy.
He was a bus driver and worked in maintenance for 26 years at Ewing School in Marietta. He graduated from Waterford High School in 1983 and attended the Career Center in masonry work. He attended the Barlow Vincent Church of Christ. He was married Sept. 21, 1985, to Barbara Woollard Donahue.
He is survived by his wife; three children, Travis, Joshua, and Alicia Donahue, all of Waterford; one sister, Janice (Eric) Blake of Philo; two brothers, Sean (Kacey) Donahue of Ely, Nev., and Michael (Erin) McCoy of Roseville; his mother and father in law, Betty and Fred Woollard of Waterford. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 15) at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Ministers Dan Plum and Charles Aebi officiating. Burial will be in Waterford Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday (Feb. 14). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Joe Donahue benefit account at the Citizens Bank in Beverly.
