Katie Elaine Bobier and Russell Lee Schwendeman were united in marriage on Jan. 11, 2011. The double ring ceremony was held at The Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas, Nev.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Angela Bobier of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of Delbert and Ilene Tebay of Parkersburg, and Bruce and Phyllis DeMoll of Vienna, W.Va., and Robert and Sable Bobier of Walker, W.Va., and the great-granddaughter of Sara Riggs of Vienna. She is a 2003 graduate of Key West High School, and will be graduating this June from Washington State Community College with an associate degree of applied science. She is employed by Apex Fitness For Women.
The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Donna Babcock of Lowell, and the late Rusty Schwendeman of Lowell. He is the grandson of Jean Augenstein and the late Carl Augenstein of Lowell, and the late Nelson and Melba Schwendeman of Lowell. He is a 1999 graduate of Fort Frye High School and a 2003 graduate of Washington State Community College with an associate degree of computer programming and operation, and currently majoring in business accounting at The University Of Phoenix. He is employed by DataScan Technologies.
The couple reside in Belmont.
