Jonathan Guerrero and Ashley Hanson, together with their parents, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mike and Bonnie McGowan of Marietta and Glenn and Karen Hanson of Belpre.
She is a 2000 graduate of Marietta High School, a 2004 graduate of Case Western Reserve University and a 2008 graduate of New York Law School. She is currently employed as a senior analyst at Practical Law Company in New York City.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Guillermo and Altagracia Guerrero of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
He is a 2000 graduate of Liceo Union Panamericana High School and is currently a student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He will graduate in June of 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in public administration. He is currently employed as a teacher at CUNY in the Heights.
The couple will exchange vows on April 16, at the Great Room in St. Andrews Hall on the campus of Marietta College with a reception to follow at The Adelphia in downtown Marietta.
