hires new treasurer
The Washington County Career Center announces the hiring of treasurer, Joseph Crone who will begin the first of April.
Crone graduated from Marietta College with a bachelor of arts degree majoring in accounting and then received a master's in educational administration from Ohio University.
He has worked as an auditor for the state of Ohio for six years. For two years, he was the treasurer of Belpre City Schools. Since August 2000, he has been controller at Washington State Community College
Crone is a member of the Marietta Civitan Club, National Eagle Scout Association and charter member of the Oak Grove Recreation Center. He enjoys coaching his children's sports teams and spending time with his family. Crone lives in Oak Grove with his wife, Melinda, and their two children, Hannah and Spencer.
Peoples changes leaders at 3 offices
Peoples Bancorp Inc. and its banking subsidiary, Peoples Bank, National Association (Peoples Bank) announce leadership changes in three of its 47 offices.
Responsibilities for all three office managers include managing day-to-day office activities; developing, and retaining and recruiting staffing.
