Together with their parents, Brittany Kay Rogers and Alex David Emerick announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ed and Krista Rogers of Washington, W.Va.. She is the granddaughter of Charles and the late Linda Rogers of Washington, W.Va., Margaret Kraft Cox of Grafton, W.Va. and Glen Cox of Grafton, W.Va. She is a 2007 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and a 2010 graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelor's Degree in human resource management. She is currently employed at National College.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dave and Cathi Emerick of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of Gary and Lois Dunn of Washington, W.Va., Dave and Janice Emerick of Parkersburg and Tom and Madella Humphrey of Parkersburg. He is a 2008 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and is employed with the Claywood Park Water District.
An open church wedding is planned for 1:30 p.m. on June 4 at the South Parkersburg Baptist Church with a reception to follow.
