Jessica Offenberger and Rex Armstrong Jr. were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony on Saturday, April 16, 20ll, at The Celebration Center, by Gordon J. Deer.
The bride is the daughter of Earl Offenbeger of Whipple and Brenda Offenberger of Vienna, W.Va. She is the granddaughter of Leroy and Donna Hutchinson.
The bridegroom is the son of Rex and Teresa Armstrong of Rinard Mills. He is the grandson of Jessie Haught and James Armstrong.
She is a 2001 graduate of Marietta High School and is a customer service associate in the paint department at Lowe's of Vienna. He was home-schooled and is a rig hand at Virco of Reno.
The bride wore a satin A-line gown with side draped bodice and asymmetrical skirt, with no train, and a cornflower blue embellished tail sash. Her headpiece was a shallow silver tiara embellished with Swarovski crystals, metallic leaves and rhinestone flowers. Her veil was two tiered elbow length with scalloped beaded edge. She carried hot pink roses, white lisianthus, lavender freesia, heather, hydrangea seeded eucalyptus and tree fern with butterflies.
The matron of honor was Tiffany Bailey. The bridesmaids were Gretta Offenberger, sister-in-law of the of the bride; Brenna Smith; and Marlena Armstrong, sister-in-law of the groom. They wore satin strapless floor length gowns with slight sweetheart neckline, A-line skirt with a wide cornflower blue waistband. They carried a smaller versions of the bride's bouquet.
The best man was Ben Marshall. The groomsmen were Justin Offenberger, brother of the bride, and Adam Best.
A reception followed at The Elks Lodge in Marietta.
The couple will reside in Rinard Mills.
