Eddie and Marie Stewart will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 5. They were married June 3, 1961, in Marietta by the Rev. Senior Lennington.
They have two children, Traci (Mike) Searls of Zanesville, and Joe (Marita) Stewart of Delaware, Ohio. They are the grandparents of Ali Searls, Brandon and Matthew Stewart.
He is retired from Central Ohio Coal and Cumbo Construction. She is retired from B&W Pharmacy and Waterford Bank.
They are active members of Smith's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Their family is hosting an open house for them to be held Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at St. Bernards Catholic Church social hall in Beverly. Friends and family are invited to attend. No gifts please.
