Michael and Deanna Irvin of New Matamoras announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Michelle Irvin to Adam Corey Thomas, son of Ferrin and Peggy Thomas of Newport.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Pat and Sandy Bleakley of New Matamoras, the late Michael and Dolly Irvin of Sardis, and the great-granddaughter of Hazel Livingston of Sisterville, W.Va..
She is a 2008 graduate of Frontier High School and is attending WVUP for a degree in nursing. She is employed at Emeritus at Marietta.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Richard and Sue Harris of Newport, Don and Susie Thomas of Newport, and great-grandson of Jim and Betty Smith of Newport.
He is a 2008 graduate of Frontier High School and a 2009 graduate of the PowerSport Institute. He is employed at Flexmag Industries.
The wedding is being planned for Oct. 8, 2011, at Center Valley Baptist Church in New Matamoras.
