Lane joined the Marietta plant in 1986 as a maintenance coordinator and is currently a Shift Supervisor. He lives in Cutler with his wife, Robin, and has two children, Ross and Heather.
Wade joined the Marietta plant in 1986 as an accountant and is currently site supply chain manager. He lives in Washington, W.Va., with his wife, Robin.
Top Drawer owner at furniture show
Sarah Dye owner of Top Drawer Furniture & Design Studio, 200 Front St., Marietta, recently attended the High Point Furniture Market, in North Carolina.
The market was attended by approximately 85,000 people in the furniture/design business. During her stay she attended educational seminars and visited many show rooms.
S&P Harley earns franchise award
The S&P Harley-Davidson dealership in Williamstown has earned one of the franchise's top honors - the Harley-Davidson Motor Company's Silver Bar & Shield Circle of Achievement Award.
"We opened our doors in 2007 and moved to our current location in 2009. We have no doubt that our decision to investment in operating our business in Williamstown has been significant in our growth," said Patsy Hardy, S& P Harley-Davison owner.
The Silver Circle of Achievement Award is given to dealerships that demonstrate outstanding new bike sales, growth in overall sales volume, customer satisfaction and participation in marketing programs. Only 40 dealerships nationwide received the award for the 2010 calendar year.
S&P Harley-Davidson is located at Exit 185 off of I-77, 80 Thunder Road, Williamstown.
Copper Leaf speaks to Athens Realtors
Interior designer Pamela Holschuh, ASID, and Sara Eells, of Copper Leaf Interiors and New Leaf Transitions, were the guest speakers at the April meeting of the Athens Board of Realtors. Both women delivered a presentation entitled, "Designing to Downsize in the Real Estate Market."
This presentation focused on the functions of New Leaf Transitions, a division of Copper Leaf Interiors that specializes in move management services. This division was created to meet the increasing demand of an aging population and their families in downsizing and moving needs.
