Ralph and Joanne Ollom were united in marriage on July 1, 1961, at St. Ambrose Rectory in Belpre. The late Rev. Louis Phillips performed the ceremony. Their parents were the late Florence and Gale Gates of Barlow and Mary and John Ollom of Vincent.
She is retired from the Washington County Board of Elections and works part-time for Barlow Cawley and Peoples Funeral Home.
He is retired from Marietta Eramet and Barlow Township Trustees. He helps his brother-in-law on his farm.
They have two daughters: Lisa (Bill) Null; and Lori (Tom) Hackathorn. They have four grandchildren: Emily and Maggie Null; and Matthew and Eric Hackathorn, all of Little Hocking.
The couple have planned an Alaska/Yukon cruise and land tour for the occasion.
