Together with their families, Ginni Nichole Murphy and Brent Eugene McClung announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Beatrice Murphy and Donald Price of New Martinsville, and the late John Murphy. She is the maternal granddaughter of the late Marvelene "Peg" Lancaster and the late Melbert Earley. She is the paternal granddaughter of the late Marcella "Posey" Glessner, the late Everet Murphy, and Barb Morris.
She graduated from Frontier High School in 2005 and received her A.A. degree from Washington State Community College in 2009. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree. in Elementary Education at WVU-P and will graduate in December of 2011.
The bridegroom is the son of Tammy and Carl McClung of Walker. He is the maternal grandson of Debbie and David Day. He is the paternal grandson of Pat Powers and Lloyd and Mattie McClung.
He graduated from Parkersburg High School in 2004 and is currently a technician at McClinton Chevrolet in Parkersburg.
A wedding is planned for July 16 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Parkersburg with a reception to follow at the Nemesis Shrine Center.
The couple will reside in Parkersburg.
