William "Bill" and Mary Wilson of Washington, W.Va. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 30. They were married in Parkersburg on June 30, 1961, by the Rev. Richard W. Battin.
He is the son of the late George and Beatrice Wilson. She is the daughter of the late Howard and Clara Barker.
The couple has three children; Steven Low and his wife, Susan, of Rockport, W.Va.; David Wilson and his wife, Maria, of Grafton, Va.; Jim Wilson and his wife, Joni, of Washington, W.Va..
They have seven grandchildren; Nathan Low of Belpre, Ohio; Justin (Allison) Low of Joelton, Tenn.; Matthew Low of Dickinson, N.D.; Ryan Larwa & Brianna Wilson of Grafton, Va.; Lauren and Kristen Wilson of Washington, W.Va.. They also have one great-grandchild; Jarod Low.
He worked for many years with Marbon and DuPont. She retired from Marbon/Borg-Warner/GE Plastics after 37 years of service. They attend Grace Gospel Church in Pettyville.
A family celebration was held July 2 at the Blennerhassett Hotel.
