Richard P. and Jean Ann Kern Miller of Marietta celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 6 in Myrtle Beach. They were married on May 6, 1961, by Monsignor Edwin Murphy.
She is the daughter of the late Paul J. and Mary L. Kern. He is the son of the late Francis and Alice Miller.
They are the parents of Brenda (Jeff) Burkey, Connie Hoblitzell, and Mark (Nancy) Miller. They have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
