Earl and Betty Metts are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. They were married July 12, 1941, at the bride's home.
She is the daughter of the late Clyde and Gertrude Beaver. He is the son of the late George and Mary Metts.
The couple have three children: Larry (Connie) Metts of Greenwood, Ind.; Lori (Bill) O'Connor of Marietta; and Laiten Metts who is deceased.
They also have four grandchildren: Aimee (Terry) Woehler and Stephanie (Joedy) Davis of Indianapolis, Ind.; and Shawn and Will O'Connor of Marietta. They have four great-grandchildren: Gwen and Grace Woehler; and Will and Ella Davis of Indianapolis.
