Henri Jr. and Donna Fontaine of Marietta are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on July 15. They were married on July 15, 1961, in McMechan, W.Va.
She is the daughter of the late Oscar and Ida Poland of McMechen, W.Va.
He is the son of the late Henri and Elberta Fontaine of Marietta.
They are the parents of: daughter, Kimberly and her husband Donald Peters of Marietta; and son, Michael Fontaine and his wife Kathie of Maysville, Ky.
They also have five grandchildren: Micah Fontaine and Ashley Fontaine of Winston, N.C., who both attend Forsyth Technical Community College; Kyle Peters who is serving in the U.S. Navy in Newport News, Va.; Michael E.B. Fontaine, who is a mechanic, and his wife Ciera of Winston Salem, N.C.; and Kassidy Peters, a senior at Marietta High School.
The couple also have two great-grandchildren: Terrian and Arianna of Winston Salem, N.C.
They were given a trip to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas by the family. Gifts will be omitted but cards will be welcomed.
