Robert and Elizabeth Hughes of Parkersburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Marie to Jason Jennings Woodyard.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Charles B. and Ann Hughes of Parkersburg and Jesteen K. and the late James A. Raines of Lubeck. She is a 2003 graduate of Parkersburg Catholic High School and employed by Strecker Cancer Center in Belpre.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Pam Pauley of St. Albans and Roger Woodyard of Parkersburg.
He is the grandson of Gene and Venita Lyons of Parkersburg and the late Dale and Mary Woodyard. He is a graduate of Parkersburg High School, and a graduate of WVU-Parkersburg and is employed by Wood County Schools as a substitute teacher. He is an assistant football and baseball coach at Parkersburg High School and an assistant Girl's Basketball coach at Parkersburg Catholic High School.
The wedding is July 9 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with a reception to follow at The Woodridge Golf Plantation.
The couple will reside in Parkersburg.
