Richard E. and Joyce Gill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 20. They were married in St. Marys, W.Va., July 20, 1961.
They are both retired.
They are the parents of two sons: Rick Gill of Belpre; and Herb Gill of Sissonville, W.Va.
They have eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons. They have two ex-daughters-in-law who are special to them: Lisa Gill of Marietta and Pamela Duffy of Lakeland, Fla.
There will be a belated celebration on Sept. 18 at their home at Whipple.
