Lois Virginia Hadley and Matthew James Beckman were united in marriage on May 21, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marietta with Monsignor Michael Campbell officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John and Barbara Hadley of Marietta. The bridegroom is the son of Richard and Rebecca Beckman of Minster, Ohio.
The bride wore an ivory satin and lace full A-line gown with silver metallic thread detail, custom-designed lace short sleeves, and a sweetheart neckline. She wore a two tier fingertip length veil with a seed pearl and beaded border and carried a bouquet of stargazer lilies, light and hot pink roses, peonies, and ranunculus.
The bridegroom wore a black tuxedo with an ivory shirt, vest, and tie.
Melissa Reger served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacie Hoelscher, sister of the bridegroom, Maria Beckman, sister of the bridegroom, Katie Noykos, and Tara Henson. They wore clover green chiffon A-line gowns with a sweetheart neckline. The flower girl, Mae Beckman, niece of the bridegroom, wore an ivory tea length satin dress with organza overlay and a clover green sash.
Best man was Mark Beckman, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Jason Hoelscher, Phil Prenger, Sean Olding, and Brian Schmitmeyer. Ringbearer was Grant Beckman, nephew of the bridegroom. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black vests, ivory shirts, and clover green ties. The ringbearer wore a black tuxedo with an ivory shirt and tie.
The bride's sister, Jamie Hadley, and Christina Hutchings were the guest book attendants and readers for the ceremony.
A dinner and dance reception was held immediately following the ceremony in the Grand Ballroom at the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta. The couple honeymooned on Oahu and Maui, Hawaii and resides in Gahanna, Ohio.
