Oran and Judy Adams of Waterford will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 19. They were married in 1961 at the Beverly Fifth Street Church of Christ by the Rev. Fred Albrecht.
She is the daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy Stollar. He is the son of the late Ruskin and Vernus Adams.
He is retired from Wolf Creek Local School District, where he taught English. She is a retired bookkeeper and seamstress. The couple have one son, Dennis, of Englewood, Ohio; two grandchildren, Frank (Kayleen) and Michael; two great-grandsons, Aron and Logan; and a daughter, the late Teri-Lynne.
Their family is hosting an open house for them to be held Sunday, Aug. 14, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Waterford United Methodist Church. Friends and family are invited to attend. No gifts, but cards and memories appreciated.
