Drain-Doan

Chrystal Ann Drain and Christopher James Doan were united in marriage with a double ring ceremony on July 23 at the Blennerhassett Hotel in Parkersburg. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Gary Doan, uncle of the bridegroom.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Kimberly Drain of Belpre. She is the granddaughter of Carl and Sandra Parr of Vienna, W.Va. and Sharon and Ed Drain of Parkersburg. She is the great-granddaughter of Helen Postlewait of Vienna.

The bridegroom is the son of Janelle and James Doan of Columbus. He is the grandson of Cameron Malloy and the late Jane Malloy of Columbus, and Delmer Doan and the late Dora Doan of Marietta.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Darcie Drain, as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Keshia Albright; Kara Postlewait, cousin of the bride; and Alisha Doan, sister of the bridegroom. Shelby Parr, cousin of the bride, served as the program attendant.

The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Shawn Doan, as the best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Rodgers; Ryan Moore; and Rick Drain, brother of the bride.

A reception followed in the Charleston Ballroom at the Blennerhassett Hotel. The couple honeymooned in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. and reside in Vienna.
