Together with their parents, Alicia Dawn Smith and Brandon Fredeick McDonald announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Wretha Lynch. She is the granddaughter of Carolyn Smith and the late Harold Smith of Marietta, and Jack Lynch and the late Martha Lynch of Marietta. She is a 2002 graduate of Marietta High School.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Anita Powell an Aimee Russell. He is the grandson of the late Mable Jackson. He is a 2004 graduate of Marietta High School.
A wedding is being planned for Sept. 10.
