Harold and Barbara Schneider of 415 Gun Club Road, Lowell, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 23. They were married Sept. 23, 1961, at St. Marys Methodist Church in St. Marys, W. Va., with Pastor A. T. Stewart officiating.
He is the son of the late Clinton and Edna Rinard Schneider and she is the daughter of the late Warren and Francis Bohl Close.
He is retired from BF Goodrich and RJF International. She is a homemaker.
The couple have two daughters: Brenda (Doug) Morris of Marietta and Cathie (Steve) Thompson of Dublin, Ohio. They have four grandchildren: Rebecca and Joshua Morris and Emily and Evan Thompson.
They celebrated by attending an anniversary dinner given by their children and grandchildren. They also celebrated by taking a trip to Branson, Mo.
