Delmer C. and E. Elnora Thompson of Parkersburg will celebrate their 60th anniversary on Sept. 26 with a family gathering. They were married Sept. 26, 1951.
He is the son of the late Leslie and Addie Bell (Buchannan) Thompson of Rockport, W.Va. She is the daughter of the late Naaman and Grace Bever of Medina, W.Va.
He is retired from Johns Manville after working 40 years. She worked for St. Joseph's Hospital for 15 years and ran her own drapery business until retiring.
They are the parents of Gary (Becky), Mike (Sherry) and the late Kendra Kay Thompson.
They have five grandchildren: Kari, Aron, Nicholas, Ashley and Clinton; and two great-grandchildren, Savannah and Addison.
