Members, guests, parents and volunteers are invited to a Fun Day Saturday at the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County at 123 Greene St.
Club director Sam Anderson said the noon to 5 p.m. Fun Day is a monthly event with games, computers, crafts and snacks.
"We do this once a month to let the kids come in and have a good time without having to also do the homework they normally have through the week during our after-school program," she said.
Anderson said the club has more special activities planned for October, including a Carnival Day that will replace the usual monthly Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 22 at the O'Neill Senior Center, 333 Fourth St., Marietta.
"This is a special event being planned by RSVP (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program) and the Freshman McDonough Leadership Program from Marietta College," she said.
Anderson said to watch for future announcements of boys and girls club events coming in October.
