Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Vandevander of Kimball, W. Va. announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Leigh, to Joshua Lance McKeever, son of Wayne and Tammy McKeever of Sistersville and Phyllis and Lou Buettner of Paden City.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Mount View High School and a graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Tyler Consolidated High School, and a graduate of Marshall University with a master's degree in business administration.
They will be united in marriage on Oct. 22, 2011, at the First Baptist Church in Ceredo, W.Va. The couple will reside in Athens, Ohio.
