James and Kyla Kidd celebrated their 25th anniversary on Oct. 4. They were married on Oct. 4, 1986, at The Newport Methodist Church in Newport, Ohio, by the Rev. Keith Kapple.
He is the son of Judie Zimmerman of Marietta and the late George Kidd. She is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Verna Binegar of Newport.
The couple have two children: Ashley Kidd Cochran and James "Matt" Kidd of Marietta. They have one grandson, Graham J. Cochran.
The couple celebrated their anniversary with a trip to Blackwater Falls in Davis, W. Va.
