Charles and Lillian Schilling of Beverly will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 15.
They were married on Nov. 15, 1961, at Our Lady of Mercy Church by the late Rev. James McMahan.
He is the son of Elizabeth Schilling and the late William Schilling.
She is the daughter of the late Herbert and Clara Huck.
The couple have six children: Anita (Doug) Henry, Lori (Dave) Meek, Jeff (Carma) Schilling, Joe (Keitha) Schilling, Greg Schilling who is deceased (daughter-in-law, Lori Schilling), and Charlie (Karri) Schilling.
They have 18 grandchildren: Ryan, Ashley and Derrike Henry, Josh and Andy Meek, Tyler, Corey, Dustin, Adam Alex, Hannah, Brayson, Lilli, Jordan, Zach, Bryce, Brady, and Bella Schilling.
They also have five great-grandchildren: Jade, Jamison, Braylon, Reily and Brystal.
Family and friends are invited to a reception and dance given by their children on Nov. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at St. Bernard's Social Hall in Beverly.
A Mass in their honor will be held at 4 p.m. at St. Bernard's. All are welcome.
